10 reasons to improve your SEO with a WordPress blog

I often recommend WordPress to create a blog for my clients in my SEO services for many reasons, here are 10 reasons:

  1. A WordPress blog can be a good alternative when you have a Flash website. A Flash website is very bad for SEO. so it could be relevant for those who want to have a Flash website to have a blog with contentthat can be indexed by search engines.
  2. A blog has the “long tail”‘s effect. The broad content of the blog will be found through queries with very little traffic, but the sum of those small queries will eventually provide a decent traffic.
  3. A blog allows you to increase the number of pages in a domain. More a website has a big number of pages, the more it seems a website with good reputation for Google.
  4. A blog on WordPress is very good for search engines. This is the main reason why our company has specialized in building site (or blog) with WordPress. Google itself recommends WordPress for the quality of its code.
  5. A blog has regulars news, so a website often up to date with frequent updates, which is a good thing for search engines like Google news.
  6. The blog attracts more traffic on the domain than the website alone, which increases even more the trafic from SEO (more traffic a site has, the more is considered high quality, more ranking go up).
  7. More opportunities to make good internal links with optimized content …
  8. A blog provide the possibility to easily open the doors of Twitter and Facebook, two other major media. Each blog post can be sent easily on Facebook and Twitter so you kill 3 birds with one stone.
  9. WordPress has many plugins specifically dedicated to improve SEO and getting traffic more easily.
  10. Whether for internal or external links, WordPress is very powerful in this area. Various plugins also exist just for the management of internal links.
